JAMSHEDPUR FC Vs FC GOA
Going to be an interesting match. Jamshedpur is getting their show, where as GOA is on a rough patch.
Chances of draw is very high. But if you ask me I’ll go with GOA. I am selecting this prediction over the recent track because of the game plan of these team.
Jamshedpur is good against defensive team, but let’s see how they perform against GOAn attack.
Players to watch out for-
Igor Angulo, Valskis, Hartley,Aniket,Jackichand, Isac, Brandon and ofcourse Edu Bedia.
Jamshedpur FC host FC Goa at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco, Goa on Wednesday, in the final Indian Super League game before the short Christmas Break.
Jamshedpur FC come into this match with a 6-game unbeaten run. Owen Coyle’s team has looked like a potential contender to qualify for the top-four this season. With ATK Mohun Bagan FC and Mumbai City FC occupying the top two spots in the table, the contest for the remaining places is expected to go down to the wire.
The Red Miners lost their opening game of the season to Chennaiyin FC. They have since rebounded with 2 wins and 4 draws.
FC Goa have performed underwhelmingly this season so far. They have lost three games this season, including their last two fixtures. FC Goa have 2 wins and 2 draws in their kitty. The Gaurs need to start winning games to have the top-four spot within their reach as the season progresses.
Jamshedpur FC have played FC Goa on six occasions. All of them were in the regular league stage in the past three seasons. FC Goa have emerged victorious 3 times, Jamshedpur FC have won twice while one game ended in a draw.
The last time these two sides met was back in February 2019 in the 2019-20 ISL league stage. The Gaurs blew away the Red Miners 5-0 in Jamshedpur.

Jorge Ortiz has been in a stellar form and would like to lead the Gaurs to victory when he steps on the field tonight. Can he?
The ferocious forwards will battle for the title of the top-scorer in the ISL.
Here’s how the top goal contributors stand in the ISL!
Who’s gonna be number one on the list after tonight’s game?
JFC 1-0 FCG 45:00 min
Jamshedpur is really playing well. Lot of pressing football in the first half. They are very much predictable in their move. The goal was from Free kick as they are planning in all their game to target their defenders for head. This time they got the success, nice work EZE.
They are attacking and defending in numbers.
All the players are defending
Goa started a 4-2-3-1 formation, may be because of that the space between players are increasing. They kept the possession but it is their own half. Brendon and edu bedia need to buck up.
More goals are coming.
FC Goa have struggled to create genuine chances while Jamshedpur proved to be more clinical as they go into half-time with a well deserved lead.
The difference between the two sides at the moment is Eze’s strike.
FC Goa 0-1 Jamshedpur (Eze 33)
FC Goa edge out Jamshedpur FC courtesy a goal by Igor Angulo in the dying minutes of the injury time. The match finishes 2-1 in The Gaurs’ favour
Unlucky JamshedpurFC …, Should have been a win/draw for JFC… Nevertheless, it is coming to a point where the need of quality assistant referees is becoming a minimum requirement in ISL… Linesman decisions are having a big impact than Main Refs…
FC Goa 2 - 1 Jamshedpur FC
Hard luck for JFC, the shot from alex was a sure goal. VRS and Goal line technology is needed to be introduced in ISL, as the quality of ref is always a concern in this year.
In second half goa started counter pressing. Changing the attacking formation to 4-3-3 and side backs were also involving in the attack.
As a result of high pressing in first half Jamshedpur was a bit tired. But the changes to bring Sandip and jitendra was a defensive move from Jamshedpur manager and may be that’s the reason for the loss.
When your team played that well in the first half you just can not down the shutter that early. I agree that your team has conceived a goal but that was from a penalty. In football you just can not defend a similar goal line with defending a long time.
Talking about penalty my word, Angulo being a right footed player took the penalty with his left foot. Briliant confidence and showmanship.
Talking about prediction, Bingo. Today also I had predicted correctly, going against the stat.
Way to go!

Owen Coyle: “I wouldn’t allow these referees to officiate children’s games. It cannot be allowed to happen. Embarrassing. We were robbed tonight. How long can this go on for”
Three FC Goa players; edu bedia , James Donachie and Ivan Gonzalez registered more than thrice the number of successful passes than any Jamshedpur FC player. The maximum successful passes by a player in JamshedpurFC was 21. Dominating.
Sorry to say that’s not at all domination. They were playing square and back passes. That’s why the numbers are so high. Edu bedia was not at all impressive in the first half.
The Gaurs have had the highest rate of possession so far in this season. Which team according to you has the best playing style in the league?
