Arsenal defeated ManU 2-0! This was Arsenal’s first Premier League win of the season against a team currently in the top-half of the Premier League (P10 W1 D4 L5).

Manchester United have lost three of their last four away Premier League games against Arsenal!

Incidently, Arsenal have scored eight goals via corners in the Premier League this season, two more than any other team.

Man Utd is going to target Harry Kane of Tottenham this summer transfer window. ManU is known for their fetish for Best of British playes.

On their part Tottenham has put £200m price tag on Harry Kane to deter Europe’s best clubs from making an attempt to sign Kane.

To make thing even more interesting, Tottenham chief Daniel Levy loathes doing business with Premier League rivals - and United in particular. He has a history of making it difficult for United when it comes to transfer deals.

Sky Sports enjoyed remarkable viewing figures as the Premier League’s Project Restart got underway on Wednesday night.

A peak audience of 3.4million watched Manchester City’s win over Arsenal which is Sky’s highest-ever figure for a game not involving Manchester United or Liverpool.

It was behind October’s clash between Manchester United and Liverpool which was Sky’s best for seven years and second in the all-time list to Monday Night Football in 2012 when the Manchester derby attracted an average audience of 4m.

After missing out on Werner, in a surprise move, Liverpool is believed to be ginning for Mbappe. If rumour are to be believed, Liverpool anxious about Mane departure, are willing to offer £200million plus Mane for Mbappe to PSG.

This would surely disrupt Ream Madrid’s plans as they are gunning for Mbappe for a while now.

But, I guess Mane + £200m would be too much to pay for the incremental advantage the deal gets for Liverpool.

The Premier League said on Wednesday (July 15) that the 2020 summer transfer window will open for 10 weeks from July 27 and close on Oct 5, with a domestic-only window for English Football League (EFL) clubs until Oct 16.

The league made the announcement after all shareholders agreed on the dates. It added that the transfer window was subject to the approval of FIFA.
“Following consultation with the EFL, a domestic-only window will be added from Oct 5, closing 1700 (local time) on Oct 16,” the league said in a statement.

“During this window, Premier League clubs will only be able to trade with EFL clubs (either loans or permanent registrations). No transfers can take place between Premier League clubs in this period.”

"World football governing body FIFA had said in April that it would be flexible with transfer windows and allow them to be moved “so they fall between the end of the old season and the start of the new season”.

“But clubs have been announcing new signings for the 2020-21 campaign. No signings announced after July 1 will be registered by the Premier League until the beginning of the summer 2020 transfer window,” the league said.

“So any new signings will only be able to play in 2020-21.”
