CFC 1-4 HFC FULL TIME

Have you ever tested RASOGOLLA with out suger syrup ? That is CFC without crivellaro. And if your boss wants to lose a game what can you do?

1st goal is complete LOL. What the heck was vishal doing only he can explain. 2nd goal Hali finishes nicely but where was the defense to win the 2nd ball ? For 3rd goal again very beautiful goal but where was the defense to block? For 4th goal why so all out attack leaving only the GK ? In first half the Chennai defense played well but in second half they were like “Rayta” for “hydrabadi biriyani” . Thapa scored a goal for you and you took him away. Jerry was moving well between attack and defense you also took him away. More over you kept Rahim Ali while he left the game in 2nd half!!! Seriously ? Why? Just substituting these players made you conceive the last 2 goals.

Now talking about HFC really hats off. Nice counter attacking moves. Along side briliant finishing by Hali. If he was not taken off he could have scored the first hatrick for the team.

Briliant performance.

This is the second time Hyderabad FC have scored 4 goals in a match in the Indian Super League. The last time they achieved this feat was when they beat Northeast United 5-1 in February 2020. Fantastic.

Hyderabad FC enjoyed a dominant 4-1 victory over Chennaiyin FC at the GMC Stadium, Bambolim tonight! After a goalless first-half, Joel Chianese broke the deadlock, capitalising on a defensive howler and Halicharan Narzary doubled the advantage for Manolo Marquez’s side within three minutes of the opener. Anirudh Thapa appeared to give hope for Csaba Laszlo’s side but Joao Victor’s powerful strike and Narzary’s second of the night sealed Hyderabad FC’s first Hero ISL win over the two-time champions!

Match Preview: Bengaluru FC vs Mumbai City FC

Bengalaru FC take on high flying Mumbai City in the Indian Super League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, on Tuesday.

The Blues have been inconsistent this season, and find themselves in fifth place, with 12 points from eight games. After not losing any of their first six games, Bengaluru have lost two matches in a row, to ATK Mohun and Jamshedpur FC.

In their last game against Jamshedpur FC, Bengaluru FC were certainly disappointed for not being able to bring home at least a point from it. Especially in the first half, Carles Cuadrat’s men had enough chances, but they didn’t take any of them and were made to pay.

Mumbai City FC are a point behind ATK Mohun Bagan at the top of the ISL table, but the Islanders have a game in hand.

In their last game, they scored two early goals to take a 2-0 lead against Kerala Blasters and held on to that to take the win in that game.

However, they did concede several presentable chances in the second half to the Blasters and will look to iron out those chinks now.

Bengaluru FC vs Mumbai City FC head-to-head

In six previous games between these two teams, Mumbai City FC have beaten Bengaluru FC three times while the Blues won twice. One match ended in a draw.

Bengaluru have not beaten Mumbai City FC since the 2017-18 season when they did the double over the Islanders. However, in five ISL clashes between them, Carles Cuadrat has never lost to Sergio Lobera.

East Bengal’s Robbie Fowler hopes to give FC Goa 'something to worry about’

robbie-fowler-coach-of-the-roar-celebrates-with-his-players-after-a-picture-id1180750108

The East Bengal gaffer stressed that it’s not going to be all about what they have to do to stop Goa from playing on Wednesday…

It took East Bengal eight games to pick their first win in the Indian Super League (ISL), notching a 3-1 victory over Odisha FC earlier this week. Now, they are looking to kick on and put some points in their bag.

The Red and Golds’ coach Robbie Fowler is happy with the term “monkey off your back” as he looks forward to a fresh challenge from FC Goa on Wednesday.

Sergio Lobera has to prove his credentials against Bengaluru FC

The Mumbai City coach would not like to be reminded of his inadequate record against the Blues.

Mumbai City FC take on Bengaluru FC in an Indian Super League (ISL) encounter on Tuesday as Sergio Lobera has some scores to settle.

Among the coaches who have a minimum of 50 ISL matches under their belt, Lobera is up there with the best Points Per Match (PPM) average of 1.81, followed by Antonio Habas (1.67) and Steve Coppell (1.47). But when it comes to Bengaluru, for a club he has faced six times in his managerial career, the former FC Goa coach has recorded the lowest PPM of 0.67 (W1, D1, L4).

Lobera was technically the head coach for seven games when his side faced Bengaluru but was on the bench for only six of them as he served a one-game ban in Goa’s 2-1 loss to Bengaluru in January 2020 owing to his sending off in the 4-3 win over Chennaiyin in the game before that.

His only victory (4-3) while leading the Goan side against Bengaluru came when the opponents were reduced to 10 men on account of Gurpreet Singh Sandhu’s sending off.

Mumbai City FC Head Coach Sergio Lobera After the Game

"I am very happy because playing against Bengaluru is always difficult, they are competitive and difficult. We played very well in the first half and took our chances and I am very happy.

"The most important thing is balance. We are playing attacking football and want to score goals but balance is important in defence. We try to recover the ball quickly and try to press the opponents. I am very happy with all the players and we are working in this way to achieve this balance.

“We need to work a lot of things and improve but the team is working very well. I have a very good squad, we have a good first XI and players are scoring for me even from the bench.”

Bengaluru FC Head Coach Carles Cuadrat After the Match

"It’s three consecutive losses but two of them have been against Mumbai and ATK, who are consistent. We have to improve a lot but this is what we are training for. We had planned to counter attack. We missed chances and set pieces, they benefitted with Eric not being there. It’s football, it happens.

"We had the plan to make things difficult for them. They are a team if you go for high pressure, it will be trouble. So we tried to stay compact. We have always had close games against Lobera. But they got the first goal and got comfortable and got 2-0 then. I am very happy with the attitude of my players though, we have to improve tactics and decisions. They came back with a goal and at least tried to get a point.

"Udanta was great in the first season when we became champions. He was giving assists and it was him and Chhetri together that worked for us. But Indian football has got better and even for Sunil, it’s not easy as before. Also, I have to say, Udanta and Fran arrived in this game with some muscle problems. Udanta has to try and get the confidence back because we have people in the box.

“Like Lobera said football is about balance and if we had gone with 4-4-2, we might have problems with Boumous and Jahouh. Our plan had worked with Goa previously with these two in that team. It didn’t work today.”
