Formula 1 Returns - 2020 Season Updates and Discussions

Claire Williams will be stepping down from her position as Deputy Team Principal after this weekend’s race in Monza.

This comes as a considerable surprise as Williams has prided itself upon being a family-owned team for nearly half a century. :hushed::hushed:

The decision to hand over the reins of management was made after the team was sold to Dorilton last weekend.

We wish Williams Racing all the best and hope their performance betters under new management!

Last night, Sergio Perez announced that he will be leaving Racing Point after the 2020 session. It is yet to be confirmed whether he will be returning to Formula 1 for the 2021 season with another team.

With Sainz taking Vettel’s seat at Ferrari, fans were left wondering where we’d see him next.

Ponder no longer, as it has been confirmed that Sebastian Vettel will be racing for Aston Martin (currently Racing Point) for the 2021 season!
Congratulations Seb!!!

Lewis Hamilton will be sitting out the Sakhir Grand Prix this Sunday after testing positive for Covid-19 on Monday. He might also not be able to race next weekend at Abu Dhabi due to the city’s and FIA’s strict coronavirus restrictions. This means that it’s possible that he may be unable to beat Schumacher’s record of career number of laps led in this season :pensive::pensive::pensive:

The top contenders to replace him for this Sunday’s race are Stoffel Vandoorne, George Russell, and Nico Hülkenberg. Who do you think will get the chance to prove their worth in Hamilton’s Mercedes??
