Well, I believe this upcoming edition will provide several players as well as teams with many opportunities to set new records. Lionel Messi can beat Diego Armando Maradona’s World Cup appearance. The latter holds the record for 21 World Cup appearances, whereas Messi has appeared 19 times, but with 2022 FIFA World Cup, it seems Messi’s going to break Maradona’s record.

In my opinion, if Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, and Kane plays well and score goals, all of them can surpass previous records and move up to the World Cup’s goals list. Also, I believe that there’s a possibility that Thomas Muller from Germany can surpass Pele in terms of goals as Muller has 10 goals to his name in World Cup, and if he performs well, he can easily go above Pele’s FIFA strikes.
And of course when talking about goals, I am going to count on Ronaldo, Mbappe, Kane, Messi, and Neymar’s performances, I am genuinely hoping not to get disappointed.

The FIFA World Cup is the most widely viewed and followed sporting event in the world, with an estimated 715.1 million people watching the final match of the 2018 tournament. The tournament has been held every four years since the inaugural event in 1930, with the exception of 1942 and 1946 due to World War II. The World Cup has been held in cities and countries all over the globe, with the 2022 tournament set to take place in Qatar, making it the first time the World Cup will be held in the Middle East.

One of the most impressive records in World Cup history belongs to Brazil, who have won the tournament a record five times. They are followed by Germany and Italy, who have both won the tournament four times. Brazil has also appeared in every single World Cup tournament since the inaugural event in 1930, a feat that no other country has accomplished.

The World Cup has seen some of the greatest players in the history of the sport, with players like Diego Maradona, Pelé, and Lionel Messi all leaving their mark on the tournament. Maradona is widely considered one of the greatest players of all time, and he led Argentina to victory in the 1986 World Cup with some of the most memorable performances in the tournament’s history. Pelé is another player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time, and he won three World Cup titles with Brazil in 1958, 1962, and 1970. Lionel Messi, considered by many to be the greatest player of his generation, has yet to win a World Cup with Argentina, but he has consistently put in impressive performances in the tournament.

There have been some memorable moments in World Cup history, including the “Hand of God” goal scored by Maradona in the 1986 tournament, the “Miracle of Bern” in which West Germany defeated Hungary in the 1954 final, and the “Ghost Goal” scored by England’s Frank Lampard in the 2010 tournament against Germany.

The World Cup has also seen its fair share of surprising upsets, with smaller countries defeating more highly favored teams. One of the most memorable upsets in World Cup history took place in 1950, when the United States defeated England in a shocking 1-0 victory. More recently, Costa Rica made it to the quarterfinals of the 2014 World Cup, defeating teams like Italy and England along the way.

In addition to the excitement on the field, the World Cup is also known for its passionate fans, who travel from all over the world to support their teams.
