Man United & Jadon Sancho will hold talks this week over situation which has been “tense” for some time
Speaking after the game, Ten Hag claimed that Sancho’s form in training was behind his absence, with the player then responding by releasing a statement of his own that made it clear he feels as though there is something else behind the Dutch manager’s thinking.
Romano now says talks will take place this week, so we’ll soon get an idea of how this situation is going to evolve Sancho is clearly a player with great potential, but he’s surely at risk of wasting his career at this point, even though we obviously don’t know the truth about everything going on behind the scenes at United.
Still, if a manager like Ten Hag wants more from one of his players in training, Sancho would surely do well to take that on board rather than issuing petulant replies on social media.

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to undergo a scan on a hamstring injury picked up against Aston Villa.
Alexander-Arnold captained Liverpool to a routine win against Aston Villa in the Premier League today. His personal performance was exceptional with his creativity once again mesmerising Liverpool fans.
But the Liverpool right-back was forced off injured midway through the second half. He was seen exchanging words with Jurgen Klopp on the sideline explaining him how he feels.
Klopp said:
“I’m interested as well. I don’t know exactly,” he told reporters.
“It’s [his] hamstring – not too serious, is his opinion.
“We have to wait for the scan.”
Alexander-Arnold is expected to pull out of the England squad. He is likely to miss England’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine and friendly against Scotland.

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk could reportedly be facing a lengthier ban than initially expected after his recent red card in the game away to Newcastle United.
Audio recordings of Van Dijk’s reaction and behaviour towards the referee have now been released, and it doesn’t look good for Van Dijk as he protested strongly against the decision, refusing to leave the pitch as soon as he’d been told to.
Van Dijk clearly wasn’t happy with the decision, but the 32-year-old is an experienced professional who would have been expected to keep his cool in that kind of situation.
The Mirror report that LFC now face the risk of losing their star defender for one further game.

Fleetwood town axe Celtic legend Scott Brown, after 16 months in charge.
Scott Brown has been sacked by Fleetwood town, following a torrid start to the season, picking up just one point in their opening six league games.
The Sun reported on the reaction to Scott Browns dismissal on social media, with one person saying “Well harsh, that” another person saying “No loyalty. He did wonders last season for you” and a third person saying “Seems a bit harsh. Although maybe that’s me being slightly biased. Always felt Fleetwood have been overachieving to be in the third tier with the budget available”.
Fleetwood Town’s club statement confirmed Scott Brown had left the club with immediate effect. The statement read “Following a difficult run of results the club reluctantly felt now is the right time to make a change to the First Team management”.
