Pep Guardiola indicated that Erling Haaland will not play against Sevilla as he recovers from his foot injury but may return against Fulham.

Haaland suffered a bruised ligament in his foot in the Champions League draw with Dortmund, having to be substituted at half-time to avoid doing any further damage. And the pain was substantial enough for him to miss City’s trip to Leicester entirely, the first Premier League game of the season that the Norwegian has not started.

“I’m pretty sure [he will] not [play] against Sevilla first because we are already qualified. Against Fulham, we will see. We have six or seven days until then so we will see.”

Julian Alvarez struggled for opportunities against Leicester playing in Haaland’s place, but Guardiola pointed out afterwards that the No.9 had failed to score against Bournemouth when the opponents lined up in a similar style.

Erik Ten Hag hints that Aaron Wan-bissaka might not feature for Manchester United again :flushed:

The former Crystal Place now Manchester United player Aaron Wan-Bissaka has had it tough at the Old Trafford club over the past 18 months and today after the Red Devils beat West Ham at home one goal to nil, the Manchester United manager left a little dig at Aaron Wan-Bissaka by saying;

‘He [Dalot] has the breath to go up and down [the flank] so the development is really good, but I have to mention, I think a club like Man Utd need two good full-backs because we have a lot of games to cover.’

Time for the 24 year old English defender to move on it seems, he has had bad injures and now it seems the manager doesn’t have much time for him with those comments…

Under FA guidelines, players who suffer from a head injury must not be allowed to return to play for at least six days after the incident. This will come down to the severity of the severity of the injury, which will be determined by the Tottenham medical team over the next couple of days.
