Watkins’ magnificent season puts him right up there.
Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa is currently the player with the most goals (16), tied for first in assists (10), and two clear of the pack in goal contributions (26) in the 2023-24 Premier League season. This makes him a strong candidate for the Premier League Player of the Season award.
He has improved substantially under the tutelage of Unai Emery, becoming not only a ruthless goalscorer, but a superb link player and de facto Harry Kane back-up for England.

This depends on who eventually wins the league for me. But based on outputs and general performance, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, and Erling Haaland are the top candidates for the player of the season.
If City wins the league, Foden might get the nod ahead of Haaland, If Arsenal surprisingly wins it, Saka might be the clear winner as well.
