The best ISL player currently as per EA FC 24 is Jason Cummings from Mohun Bagan Super Giant where he plays as a striker. He is rated 70 in the EA FC 24 game, making him the top-rated player in the ISL according to EA FC 24 ratings. Cummings boasts a strong portfolio having played for Nottingham Forest and now showcasing his skills in the ISL with Mohun Bagan Super Giant. His attributes in the game include 79 pace, 73 finishing, 72 shot power, and good reactions, making him a standout player in the league.

Born in Scotland, Cummings has represented the Scotland national team at youth levels and also played a couple of matches at the senior level. However, the opportunity of senior football didn’t look bright for him until he considered switching from Scotland to Australia in 2019.

In June 2023, Cummings joined ISL club Mohun Bagan following his departure from the Central Coast Mariners. Cummings won his first silverware with Mohun Bagan in a Kolkata Derby win in the final of the 2023 Durand Cup.

Hugo Boumous :muscle:

Boumous is a French professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder for the ISL club Mohun Bagan Super Giant. He has been a key player for Mohun Bagan, showcasing his playmaking abilities and contributing significantly to the team’s performance. Boumous joined Mohun Bagan in July 2021 and has been a valuable asset, making notable appearances and scoring goals for the team. Recently, in the ISL 2023-24 season, Boumous has played in several matches, demonstrating his skills and helping Mohun Bagan maintain a strong position in the league standings.

However, the club announced in February 2024 that Boumous was replaced by Joni Kauko at Mohun Bagan Super Giant for the remainder of the ISL season.

Boumous has been playing in India since 2018, playing for three ISL clubs, FC Goa, Mumbai City FC and finally, ATK Mohun Bagan, now known as Mohun Bagan Super Giant. He won six honours across the three clubs, which include two ISL titles and as many League Winner Shields.

Vishal Kaith (ATK Mohun Bagan)

Vishal Kaith from ATK Mohun Bagan is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the ISL. Kaith won the ISL Golden Glove award for the 2022-23 season, having achieved an impressive 12 clean sheets in 24 matches, surpassing other custodians in the league.

His performances have been notable, including keeping a clean sheet in a Kolkata Derby victory over East Bengal and making crucial saves throughout the current season. His exceptional performances between the sticks played a crucial role in ATK Mohun Bagan securing their maiden ISL trophy, making him a standout goalkeeper in the current ISL season.

Sandesh Jhingan (FC Goa)

Jhingan was immense for Bengaluru FC’s backline last season, leading them to the ISL 2022-23 final. He registered the most number of clearances last season. He has an extensive career history, having played for various clubs like Kerala Blasters, ATK Mohun Bagan, and Bengaluru FC. The India international moved to FC Goa during the summer and has been crucial to his team’s defensive prowess this season.

With nine successful tackles, 56 clearances, four blocks, and five interceptions in his ten appearances for FC Goa in the league, Jhingan has led his team to six clean sheets, conceding only five goals in ISL 2023-24 so far. He also scored a crucial equalizer against East Bengal FC in October which eventually earned FC Goa all three points off the match.

Unfortunately, he recently suffered a knee injury during the Asian Cup, which might lead to him missing the rest of the ISL season. The injury could require surgery, possibly for ACL reconstruction, with a recovery period estimated between three to six months.
