Who do you think is the most underrated player in football history?

Some players are given less attention than they deserve. In my opinion one such player is Robert Lewandowski. He is currently the best number 9 in football. He is the current top scorer in champions League(11 goals)and the Bundesliga(25 goals).Even after all this he is not regarded in the league of Messi,Ronaldo, etc.

Edin Džeko- One of the most underrated footballers ever. He is one of the best strikers in football. He played for VFL Wolfsburg where he won the 2008–09 Bundesliga.

Džeko started his second season with Manchester City and used as a backup striker or a super sub.

He won the 2011–12 and 2013–14 Premier League, 2010–11 FA Cup, 2013–14 Football League Cup and the 2012 FA Community Shield.

In 2015 summer transfer market, Džeko officially signed for Serie Aoutfit Roma on a €4 million loan but now he is is a regular starter for AS Roma. He is only footballer to score 50+ goals in the top divisions of more than two countries’ league. He scored 50+ goals in the Bundesliga, Premier League and Serie A.

Džeko and AS Roma are best known for their exploits in the 2017–18 UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against Barcelona .

Gabriel Batistuta - Out scored his Serie A contempories such as George Weah and Ronaldo Nazario! He dominated a great United side at Old Trafford and finished as his national side’s greatest ever goalscorer.

Easily a top 10 striker of all time and dangerously deadly. He could launch rockets from 50 yards away. A major threat at all times and had decent speed to back his skills up. World Class.

Paul Scholes is an Former English football player. He spent his entire professional playing career with Manchester United, for whom he scored over 150 goals in more than 700 appearances between 1993 and 2013. He played at many different positions right from attacking Midfielder to defensive Midfielder. He was master in long shots and long balls.

Dynamo Kyiv/Netherlands

Though he became somewhat infamous for his tunnel brawl with Feyenoord defender Joris Mathijsen while playing for PSV back in February, Jeremain Lens deserves recognition for his ever-improving performances on the pitch for club and country.

This 25-year-old attacker continues to show signs that he is finally cashing in on his immense talent.

He has always been a fantastic dribbler and looked dangerous when cutting in from wide positions, but now, the Dynamo Kyiv man is doing it consistently and ensuring there is an end product as well.

Gianluigi Donnarumma (Serie A - AC Milan)

Although Donnarumma was recognized a young prodigy, but I believe he is underrated in his overall goalkeeping ability. He is highly rated in his country Italy, but he seldom makes it to the list of top goalkeepers in Europe which includes Alisson Becker, Thibaut Courtois, David de Gea and Manuel Neuer.
