The 2023 summer transfer window is in full swing, with Arsenal thundering to the top of this list with their big-money capture of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz which makes them the highest spenders so far. The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have also had a busy window with incomings and outgoings.

Which club in your opinion has had the best window so far?

Manchester United in my opinion has had the best transfer window so far

Manchester United added Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Hojlund. These players occupies spaces where United were desperately looking to improve on from last season. They simply went all out to strengthen in those areas.

Man United can’t be happy with Rasmus Hojlund’s shocking injury development though.

Having only just been introduced to the Old Trafford faithful, it was likely a shock for Man United fans to find out that new signing, Rasmus Hojlund, wouldn’t be available for a few weeks.

It’s believed that a minor injury whilst with Atalanta was the cause and United were perfectly aware when conducting the medical to sign the 20-year-old. However, something more serious has come to light, and it casts doubt on the decision making at the club.

According to the Daily Mail, Hojlund had to undergo an MRI scan as part of the medical process, and a stress response hotspot in his back was detected.

That’s believed to be the start of stress fractures in younger players, and if not treated quickly and properly, it could see that the Dane misses months rather than weeks of the 2023/24 campaign.

Real Madrid - Jude Bellingham is the biggest deal of the summer. The reported transfer fee for Bellingham’s move to Real Madrid was around €103 million ($111 million).

Bellingham, at just 19 years old, is considered one of the fastest-rising stars in football. He has already established himself as a key player for Borussia Dortmund and the England national team. His rise from Birmingham City to taking up his idol-Zinedine Zidane’s number 5 is nothing short of excellence.

Bellingham’s signing comes with a six-year contract, indicating Real Madrid’s intention to build a long-term project around him. Real Madrid’s decision to sign him suggests they see him as a player with immense potential and believe he can contribute significantly to their team.
