Arsenal vs Tottenham preview:

Matchweek 28 of the 2020/21 Premier League is underway and the biggest draw of this round of fixtures comes our way from the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening as Arsenal gear up to take on arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby.

Arsenal’s hopes of finishing in the top six are dangling by a thread. The Gunners are currently tenth in the standings, eight points off of Everton in sixth place. Their last league game ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw against Burnley, but Mikel Arteta’s men did bounce back to winning ways, beating Olympiacos 3-1 in the UEFA Europa League this week.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have picked up steam after a poor run of results. Jose Mourinho’s side have racked up five wins in a row in all competitions, beating Crystal Palace 4-1 last weekend which was followed by a 2-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in Europe. Despite the upturn in form, Spurs are still seventh in the table and have their task cut out to close the gap to fourth-placed Chelsea.

The reverse fixture played in December last year saw Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-0 with goals coming from the usual suspects, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

Manchester United vs Westham preview:

Manchester United will be hoping to consolidate their position at the top end of the 2020/21 Premier League table when they lock horns with West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday night.

Manchester United are second in the league standings, 14 points off of leaders Manchester City, [whom they defeated last week. However, that was followed by a disappointing 1-1 draw against AC Milan in the UEFA Europa League. With Leicester City and Chelsea breathing down their necks, the Red Devils must make sure to collect all three points or risk getting dragged into the race for the top four.

West Ham United, meanwhile, have continued their push for European football for next season in a steady manner. David Moyes’ men are fifth in the table, just three points off of Chelsea in fourth and head into Sunday’s game on the back of a 2-0 victory over Leeds United, which meant they have now lost just once in their last six league outings, winning four and drawing the other.

The reverse fixture saw Manchester United beat West Ham 3-1 last December. Both teams clashed again last month in the FA Cup, with the Red Devils prevailing once again.
