The highly anticipated Paris 2024 Olympic Games is finally here! From July 26 to August 11, 2024, the world’s top athletes will gather in the City of Light to compete in a thrilling display of sportsmanship and excellence.

Schedule:

  • Opening Ceremony: July 26, 2024
  • Competition Dates: July 27 - August 10, 2024
  • Closing Ceremony: August 11, 2024

Events:

  • 32 sports and 5 new disciplines added for Paris 2024, including breakdancing, surfing, skateboarding, sport climbing, and karate.
  • 10,000 athletes from 206 nations expected to participate.

Medals:

  • 339 medal events across all sports.
  • Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals up for grabs in each event.

Venues:

  • 95% of venues already exist or are temporary, reducing the environmental impact of the Games.
  • Iconic Parisian landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais, and Champs-Élysées will host various events.

Football at the Olympics:

  • Men’s and Women’s Football tournaments will feature 16 teams each.
  • Matches will be played at various stadiums in and around Paris.
