The Daily Star has examined some of the richest people on earth to determine who has the potential to lead Manchester United.
Faiq Bolkiah, a former Chelsea junior player who is only 24 years old and has a net worth of almost £17.8 billion, is one person they have taken into consideration.
The former Chelsea player hasn’t stated that he’s interested in actually purchasing the team, but he undoubtedly has the funds to do it.
Imagine the uproar that’ll happen in the football world if this actually happens
24 yr old Faiq Bolkiah, never heard of! However, he definitely piqued my interest after seeing his net worth of £17.8 billion.

British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s firm Ineos has officially stated an interest in buying Manchester United.
United’s owners the Glazer family said in November that they were considering selling the club as they “explore strategic alternatives”.
Ineos said the company had “formally put ourselves into the process”.
Ratcliffe made an unsuccessful late £4.25bn offer to buy Chelsea last year after Russian owner Roman Abramovich put the London club up for sale.
Following his failure to acquire Chelsea, Ratcliffe said he would have tried to buy United but, after meeting with brothers Joel and Avram Glazer, he stated that they did not want to sell.
However, since then the Glazers have changed their stance and he has now joined the bidding process.
Main points of the Qatari takeover bid for Man Utd:
Keen on quick conclusion
Family is worth $335bn
£8b + redevelopment not an issue
Confident of winning
Only want a full takeover
Emir of Qatar is big Utd fan
Fan engagement at the heart
The Qatari investors, seeking to buy Manchester United, would not only redevelop Old Trafford, but also the vast swathes of land surrounding the stadium that are owned by the club.
