ATK Mohun Bagan take on Hyderabad FC in Match 24 of the 2020-21 Indian Super League (ISL) season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on Friday evening
In their last game, ATK Mohun Bagan fell to their first defeat of the season, after winning their first three games. A Nerijus Valskis brace gave Jamshedpur a 2-1 win over Antonio Lopez Habas’ side.
Roy Krishna, though, kept up his streak of scoring in every game for ATK Mohun Bagan this season.
As for Hyderabad, the start to this season has indicated that they will end up having a much better campaign than they did last time. They are unbeaten in their three games so far, having played two draws after beating Odisha FC 1-0 in their first game.
Coach Manuel Marquez Roca does have a few injury concerns to deal with, though. It is actually not an ideal way to prepare for a game against an opposition of the pedigree of ATK Mohun Bagan.

ATK Mohun Bagan and Hyderabad FC played out a closely-contested 1-1 draw.
Hyderabad FC equalise through a Joao Victor penalty after Nikhil Poojary won the spot-kick! ATK Mohun Bagan conceded the penalty for a foul on Nikhil Poojary by Manvir Singh.
Manvir Singh was involved at both ends of the pitch as he scored the opening goal and conceded the penalty that allowed Hyderabad to equalise.
Roy Krishna continued to be a threat up front for Bagan as he has been all season and could have scored an early goal. In the 7th minute, he fired the ball from Prabir Das’ pass straight at the keeper before testing Subrata Paul with a powerful header off Pritam Kotal’s cross two minutes later.
Both teams were evenly matched but Bagan had more shots on target.

A thrilling contest comes to an end as it ends all square at the Fatorda Stadium between ATK Mohun Bagan and Hyderabad FC.
Habas’ team who were dominating HFC in the second half put their nose ahead through Manvir Singh in the 54th minute, after Subrata Paul’s faulty goal-kick fell on his feat in the midfield. The 25-year-old then dashed forward, then with a little bit of luck he a good touch inside the box to slot the ball in the back of the net.
However, the lead stayed for just 10 minutes as Joao Victor equalised for the Nizams. Nikhil Poojary was brought down inside the box by Manvir and Joao Victor made no mistake from the spot. Both teams then tried to get the elusive winner with Hyderabad having better chances but failed to find that killer pass as both teams had to settle for a stalemate.

The Fatorda Stadium in Goa witnessed a high-octane encounter as ATK Mohun Bagan and Hyderabad FC played out a 1-1 draw. Manvir Singh’s scintillating run put the Mariners ahead before Joao Victor levelled things up from the spot for what was the 50th goal of the Hero ISL 2020-21 season.

Odisha FC (OFC) VS FC Goa (FCG)
OFC vs FCG will square off tonight at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim, Goa.
Goa coach Juan Ferrando has played a 4-3-3 formation in his side’s opening four games with striker Igor Angulo operating between the central areas. Starting Brandon Fernandes in the last two outings was fruitful for the Spanish manager as the Indian international has been lethal with his crossing and has claimed two assists.
Meanwhile, Vinit Rai is still injured for Odisha. However, the improved fitness of Jerry Mawihmingthanga and Marcelinho will be a huge boost for gaffer Stuart Baxter. The team is rooted to the bottom of the table with just one point from four matches. Baxter will be hoping for more goals from his striker Diego Mauricio.

Odisha 0-1 FC Goa
Igor Angulo’s first half strike (45+2’) sealed a comfortable win for the Gaurs over the Juggernauts.
Odisha line up saw four changes from their last game against Mumbai City- Arshdeep Singh, Hendry Antonay, Vinit Rai and Manuel Ownu replaced Kamaljit, Goerge D’Souza, Nandhakumar Sekar and Daniel Lalhimpuia.
While Goa made just one change to the winning combination from their game against Kerala Blasters- Alberto Noguera replaced Edu Bedia.
Goa controlled the game right from the start and had more than 72 per cent of ball possession. Odisha, on the other hand, were not up to the mark and failed to pose any threat.
FC Goa moved up to the 4th position on the league table while Odisha stay at the bottom on 10th position after today’s result.
