Mumbai City FC put on a dominant display against ATK Mohun Bagan to clinch the Hero ISL League Winners Shield at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim!
The biggest game of the season certainly lived up to the hype, as both sides came out aggressively and with intent right from kick-off. It only took seven minutes for Mourtada Fall to break the deadlock to give the Islanders the lead. Bartholomew Ogbeche doubled the advantage for Sergio Lobera’s side in the 39th minute. ATK Mohun Bagan tried to mount a comeback, but a commanding display from Mourtada Fall and his teammates ensured a 2-0 win for Mumbai City FC.
