Sanju Samson’s IPL career:
111 games
28.13 average

A 50-plus score for every 6.9 innings.
Would you say he has underperformed in the tournament?
I was quite impressed with his stupendous batting performance (119/63) in RR’s opening match against PBKS. Although RR lost this thrilling match by 4 runs, I think Sanju Samson had made a loud and clear statement that RR will prove to be a competitive threat to rest of the teams.
Unfortunately, things are not going so well for Sanju Samson since that match except a win against DC. It would be too early too form an opinion about him. I hope he bounces back and emerges as a dark horse of this season making into play offs.
Match 16. 13.3: WICKET! R Parag (25) is out, c Yuzvendra Chahal b Harshal Patel, 109/5
