IPL 2020: SRH vs DC - Preview, Post Match Reviews & Discussions

Match 47 Surisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Capitals

SRH have secured 4 wins from 11 matches and DC have 7 wins from 11 games.

Delhi have suffered two back to back losses to KKR and KXIP. If DC win today, they will be on the top of the table with 16 points. While Sunrisers are there with 8 points in 11 games. Their chances of qualifying for the playoffs look slim.

Last time when they met, SRH had beaten DC by 15 runs with fine performances from Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan.

Stats:

SRH at this venue: Played 9, Won 5, Lost 4
DC at this venue: Played 7, Won 5, Lost 2

Records that can be achieved today

  • Manish Pandey needs 62 runs to complete 1000 IPL runs for SRH.
  • David Warner requires 9 sixes to complete 200 IPL sixes.
  • Rishabh Pant needs 47 runs to complete 2000 IPL runs.
  • Shikhar Dhawan requires 29 runs to complete 500 runs in this IPL season.

Crucial match for both teams - DC to seal their spot in play off and for SRH to keep their hopes alive for a chance at playoffs.

This performance is as god as a century by batsmen if not better. One would witness centuries more frequently than such figures.
