But steady knock from Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Saurabh Tiwary laid the perfect platform for Hardik Pandya to explode in the final phase.
Ben Stokes (107*), opening the RR innings in the chase, gave momentum to RR from the first over itself. He added a 100+ partnership with Sanju Samson (54*) to take the chase within eminently manageable proportions in the middle overs. RR finally win by 8 wickets with 10 balls to spare.
