The Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host Match 37 of the Dream11 IPL 2020 when Chennai Super Kings face Rajasthan Royals.
Both the teams have three wins against their name from nine matches and currently in the bottom half of the points table.
The last time these two sides squared off in IPL 2020, RR, kickstarting their campaign, had beaten CSK by 16 runs in Sharjah on the back of Sanju Samson’s whirlwind 74 and Steve Smith’s 47-ball 69. While RR will once target a win over CSK to revive their season, CSK will be out to settle the score and keep their hopes of reaching the playoffs alive.
Head To Head
The two teams have faced each other 22 times in the IPL so far, and CSK holds a 14-8 head-to-head win/loss record over RR.
Must win games for both teams. The top 4 teams are already way forward in the points table and if CSK want to maintain their 100% playoffs record they must win all games from this point of time in the league.
CSK made two changes - Josh Hazlehood replaced the injured Dwayne Bravo and Piyush Chawla came in for Karn Sharma in a leg-spinner for leg-spinner change.
RR made one change - replacing fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat with Ankit Rajpoot, a like-for-like switch.
CSK and RR are the two bottom-placed teams at the moment in IPL 2020 Points Table.
For both teams this is an important match to increase their chances of making it to the playoffs.
