The race to the playoffs is heating up. All teams are in with the chance mathematically. 7/8 teams still have realistic chance.

Today we have clash of the two teams in top half of the table. Both look to strengthen their position. A loss for KKR today will be moral boosting for teams in the bottom half of the table.

RCB has been riding on individual batting performances till date. Let’s see if we see a collective better show today. KKR seems to be doing things right, they would like to build on it. Naraine is again available for KKR but it will be interesting to see how they can get him in as his replacement Lockie has done extremely well. So, He has a difficult task of replacing Cummins/Russel at hand. The KKR have a tricky decision on hand. RCB has also utilized Zampa/Moeen fully. Will they get another look in?

A couple of records KKR achieved which they would wish to forget…

15 overs by KKR is the slowest any team to reach the score of 50 in the history of IPL. The previous most being 13.1 overs by KXIP against CSK in Durban in 2009.

Lowest totals batting all 20 overs (IPL)

84/8 KKR vs RCB Abu Dhabi 2020
92/8 KXIP vs CSK Durban 2009
94/8 MI vs RR Jaipur 2011
95/9 KXIP vs CSK Chennai 2015
