2021-22 season, they were strong contenders in the PL title but this season they are not even in the top 4! 
I am puzzled. 
Same top notch manager is heading the team and the team is more or less the same (except Sadio Mane move to Bayern). Then what is the reason for it’s lacklustre performance this season? 
Has Mane’s absence had more impact than expected?
Is the management instability and potential takeover bid at the club affecting the morale and zeal of the team?
