The Spanish midfielder, David Silva who joined Manchester City from Valencia in 2010 played his last Premier League game yesterday. The 34-year-old has won 14 trophies in 10 seasons with City and was undoubtedly one of Premier League’s most graceful, intelligent and tactical playmaker. 433 appearances, 77 goals, 93 Premier League assists and countless magical moments, it’s been an absolute pleasure watching Silva in England.
Silva has been in exceptional form and is expected to play a part in one final tilt when City host Real Madrid at Etihad at the Champions League before he moves onto his next challenge in the final years of his career. Silva not only retires as one of Manchester City’s greatest legend but also as one of Premier league’s greatest.
