Afridi’s past remarks about India are unforgivable. Extending support for someone who is inhumane on religious basis doesn’t deserve any support from Indians. Yuvraj and Bhajji should find better causes to support and not play good guys.

Gambhir former India cricketer and BJP lawmaker Pledges to Donate Two Year’s Salary to PM-CARES Fund set up for fight against coronavirus pandemic.

He has already released Rs one crore out of his MP Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) Fund towards the relief efforts amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Gautam Gambhir Foundation was distributing food packets to poor people in his constituency in New Delhi. East Delhi has a large number of daily wage labourers and many were not able to make arrangements for their food due to the 21-day lockdown.

“People ask what can their country do for them. The real question is what can you do for your country? I am donating my two year’s salary to PM-CARES Fund. You should come forward too!” Gambhir said in a tweet asking other people to make contributions too.

Bengal pacer Ishan Porel is doing his part.

He has not only donated Rs 20,000 each to the State Relief Fund and Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, he has also given Rs 10,000 to a local hospital for buying masks, gloves and sanitizers for the doctors and care givers.
