The 2021/22 Premier League will start on Friday 13 August 2021 and clubs have already started their summer 2021 plans.

Chelsea have returned for pre-season training, with Thomas Tuchel’s side set to play their first friendly behind closed doors against Peterborough United on July 17.

They will subsequently face Arsenal and Tottenham in front of almost-full stadiums as part of a series of matches to raise funds for Mind, the UK’s leading mental health charity, and the three club’s respective foundations.

In this thread, we shall be covering all Chelsea Football Club Pre-season activities over the course of the Summer

Chelsea have sold a host of their academy players and are yet to make a marquee signing this transfer season.

Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher, Malang Sarr and a few players who have been on the peripheries of the first team have managed to secure game time and impress Thomas Tuchel.

Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner will not play a part in the forthcoming clash against Bournemouth.
