🇦🇺 Border-Gavaskar Trophy - India vs Australia Test Series (2020/21)- Full schedule, Squads, Match Previews, Results & Discussions

Great Win!

Now India would have a tough choice on hand in 3rd. Whom will Rohit replace? Impressive debutante Gill or Established Vihari? I hope it’s not Vihari, We will need his grit. Rohit can provide flamboyance/chutzpah of Gill aplenty.

Also, Looking at Rahane’s remarks at presentation, Jaddu seems safe.

Let’s not judge!

Steve Smith has had his share of ups and downs. I am sure he will bounce back from this phase too. Greatness is embarked upon after such down moments. :green_heart:

Worrying News - According to The Age, the BCCI launched an investigation after a possible Bio-Bubble breach by Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Navdeep Saini and Prithvi Shaw yesterday when they met a fan.

It’s a worry for India. They won’t be able to play next match if it was to be a strict Bio-Bubble. As they were allowed to go out, it wouldn’t be a strict Bio-Bubble and They may escape with a fine.

Let’s see what happens! :crossed_fingers:

This is totally careless and irresponsible behavior knowing the exceptional circumstances! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Bio-bubble protocols are not new to these players yet they negligently choose to take chances. No excuses…

It would be totally unfair if a proven performer like Mayank is dropped for a rookie. Gill may become even a Great in future but right now, Mayank should be the first choice due to his record in recent years.

As per reports, India have handed Navdeep Saini a Test debut and brought Rohit Sharma back as opener and vice-captain for the Sydney Test starting Thursday. Saini replaced the injured Umesh Yadav, and Rohit took the place of Mayank Agarwal. There are no other changes to the XI that won the MCG Test and levelled the series 1-1.

Mayank draws a short bargain. He loses his post in spite of great recent years performances to hyped up Gill. Gill seems to have backers in upper echelon and media.
