↔️ 2024 January Transfer Window: When does it open? News and Daily Updates

The January 2024 transfer window is set to provide us with many more expensive transfers.

The 2023-24 January window opens its doors on Monday, 1 January 2024 and will close on Thursday, 1 February at 11pm GMT.

The first confirmed transfer of January 2024 saw Brighton sign 18-year-old Romanian winger Adrian Mazilu from Farul Constanta for £2.5m. It was completed a few months before the winter window opened as Mazilu was allowed to finish 2023 with the Romanian team.

Players out of contract in 2024 will also be able to negotiate summer transfers with foreign clubs once the January window opens. Kylian Mbappe is the biggest name in world football whose contract is due to expire in 2024. Mbappe has informed PSG that he will not sign an extension, opening the door for a free transfer move to Real Madrid. Gunners have even been linked to Mbappe, as have Liverpool.

Who does your club need to bolster their team, to battle for the Europa League Spot, the top 4 or to Challenge for the title?

Chelsea and Arsenal are in the market for a top-class centre forward. The likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney have all been shortlisted by both teams.

Man Utd are looking to bring in at least four new players in January; a right winger, a centre back, a defensive midfielder and a number eight. They also could offload a number of players, with Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek transfer listed, and Casemiro’s future up in the air.

Tottenham need more depth in their squad and will likely sign an attacking winger at the very least. Newcastle, meanwhile, have an injury crisis and may bring more bodies in. A centre midfield to replace the suspended Sandro Tonali is a necessity. Further down the table teams are looking to buy in order to avoid relegation.

The player is tired of his status as a substitute and the arrival of Vitor Roque will not help his situation.

In addition, relations between the player’s agent and Barça management are not good.
