We are at the semifinal stage of this season Carabao Cup competition.

Newcastle, who knocked out Manchester City and Manchester United previously in the competition, were eliminated after a penalty shootout against Chelsea. Championship side Middlesbrough made it through to the last four as the only non-Premier League team to make it this far.

The semi-final ties take place over two legs, with the first to be played on the week commencing January 8 and the return fixtures to go ahead on the week of January 22.
