The team is now under the managerial supervision of club legend Frank Lampard, who has come on board until the end of the season when the team will decide who will take charge of the Blues for the coming year.
Unfortunately for the London team, the team doesn’t seem to show signs of getting better. They lost this past weekend to Wolves 1-0, and it is now four games in a row that they don’t know what it is to take home the three points. So the game against Real Madrid will be a testament to changing things around.
The team has given up on La Liga. This weekend they lost against Villarreal at home. Los Blancos had played a good game until the last 25 minutes. Then, they witnessed their lead of 2-1, which saw Vinicius score a wonder goal, turned around when Samu Chuckwueze scored two beautiful goals, especially his last one against a Madrid defense that was walking the field rather than running it.
