HT - 0-0 at Wembley

No goals in the first 45 minutes of play at Wembley. In fact, not a single clear chance was created by either team in the first half. Chelsea dominated the possession game and controlled the proceedings, but failed to force the Leicester keeper Schmeichel a single good save so far.

Leicester got a few half chances in their counter attacks but nothing substantial to show. Both teams need to uplift the level of their games in the second half if they have to break the opposition’s defence line and score a goal and make history tonight.

FT - Leicester beat Chelsea 1-0 to win their maiden FA Cup title

History made at Wembley tonight. Leicester City won their first FA Cup title after losing four finals in the past. Heartbreak for Chelsea as they lost back-to-back FA Cup finals. In the end, Tielemans’ stunner in the 63rd minute decided the outcome of the summit clash. Keeper Schmeichel made a couple of stunning saves at the dying minutes to deny Chelsea an equaliser. And to add more drama, VAR disallowed Chilwell’s stoppage time goal as the Chelsea player was just offside.
