Dortmund title hopes shattered after shameful loss against Leverkusen
Borussia Dortmund were thrashed 5 - 2 at home against 3rd place Bayern Leverkusen, with injured star Erling Haaland watching from the sidelines.
They had to win this game in order to have a fighting chance against league leaders Bayern Munich. Instead they fell 9 points behind Bayern Munich and are now only 5 points ahead of 3rd place Leverkusen. I think it is truly surprising that the absence of one player can change the outcome of the match by this much!
