The UEFA Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament ⭐ Who should have made the list and who should have been dropped?

Patrick Shick is a very questionable Omission here. He scored 5 goals and had an outstanding tournament

@Goodness Personally I’ll have him over Lukaku as well, he had a tremendous tournament and was the main man for Czech throughout the tournament… I see no reason Lukaku should be ahead of him especially when you realized they both got eliminated at the quarter final stage…

No player recorded a higher top speed at EURO 2020 than Leonardo Spinazzola (33.8km/h).

He also attempted more open play crosses than any other Italy player (11).

Patrik Schick finished joint-top scorer at the European Championships with five goals.

He scored 83% of the Czech Republic’s goals, single-handedly getting them to the quarter-final.

And let’s not forget about THAT goal against Scotland.

He’s definitely worthy of a place in the team of the tournament!

1 - Despite playing 599 minutes (the equivalent to 6.7 full 90s), Kyle Walker committed only one foul and was dribbled past only once during EURO 2020 . Insurance.

5 - Over Italy’s first five matches at EURO 2020, Leonardo Spinazzola ranked first for dribbles completed (7), first for progressive carries (58), and second for chances created in open play (8) amongst the Azzurri squad. Flash.

Luke Shaw’s Euro 2020 by numbers:

28 crosses
24 duels won
10 chances created
10 aerial duels won
9 tackles
4 interceptions
4 big chances created
3 assists
1 goal

Unlucky to miss out, but Spinazzola was superb.

Curious to know: How is it that Ronaldo has not made the cut?

AND

Who is announced as the manager of this team, if there is one?

I think Ronaldo was omitted from the list because Portugal was eliminated at the Round of 16 stages and probably because three of his goals were from the spot

He had an impressive tournament though and should probably be in the team, but then, it is what is.

The manager wasn’t announced but I doubt anybody will look at anybody other than Roberto Mancini who guided the team all the way through the tournament unbeaten…
