Seasoned opener Shikhar Dhawan led the 167-run chase from the front as Delhi Capitals registered a comfortable seven-wicket win over Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad.

Dhawan scored an unbeaten 69 off 47 balls – his third half-century of the season – as Delhi crossed the finish line with 14 balls to spare.

The victory also took Delhi to the top in the points table as they now have 6 wins in 8 matches.

Dhawan’s (380) knock also took him past KL Rahul (331) as he regained the top spot in the race for the Orange Cap.
