MUMBAI INDIANS BEAT CHENNAI SUPER KINGS in a last-ball thriller. Kieron Pollard gets the job done and once again proved why he is the most important part of this team.
A phenomenal batting & bowling display by Pollard!
Pollard singlehandedly powered MI to a win as he guided MI to the second-highest run chase in the history of the IPL. The highest one was the Rahul Tewatia match against Punjab Kings last year in Sharjah.
Half-centuries from Moeen Ali (58), Faf du Plessis (50) & Rayudu (72*) go in vain for CSK.
“We were very off target when it came to execution”, says MS Dhoni. “Not being too tough on bowlers, we dropped catches at crucial intervals. The bowlers would execute better and learn from this. Irrespective of where we are in the points table, we take one game at a time. We hardly ever focus on where we are standing on the table. That has been our good point along the way.”
Well said Captain Cool!

The two teams at the bottom of the points table, the Rajasthan Royals and the Sunrisers Hyderabad will be facing each other at 3:30 today in the first double header match.
Hyderabad team have changed their captain mid-season, one day before their 7th game of the ongoing season. The orange army have won only 1 out of 6 matches played so far.
Kane Williamson will take over the captaincy and there will also be a change in their overseas players, which hints at David Warner’s altogether exclusion from the playing XI.
Can change in captaincy bring some luck to SRH and help them regain their foothold this season?
On the other hand, the men in pink are also struggling to string together some performances (Won 2 out of 6 matches played so far).
Who will gain an upper hand in today’s match?
I think David Warner is a great player but just that he has had a bad run so far as a captain. Would like to see him still be part of playing XI.
Good luck to Kane Williamson, one of my favorite captains, to shift the needle upwards & sail the SRH ship to the playoffs!
