ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC REJOINS AC MILAN

The Club and the striker have agreed on a deal until the end of the current season with an option to extend the contract for the next one.

Ibrahimovic returns to AC Milan where he played a leading role in the Club’s history. The striker played for AC Milan in the two season 2010/11 and 2011/12 recording 85 appearances, 56 goals and significantly contributing to the achievement of the 18th Scudetto and the Italian Super Cup.

Wayne Rooney has officially become player/coach of Derby County after leaving DC United. 34-yr-old Rooney has penned a deal until June 2021 with the option to renew for another year. He could make his debut in home fixture against Barnsley today in the in the Sky Bet Championship - English League 2.

With over 700 appearances and 300 goals to his name in club football, including a record 253 for Manchester United, Rooney is undisputedly one of the biggest and most recognizable names in world football.

Manchester derby Carabao Cup semi - final
Reigning Champions Manchester City will face Manchester United tomorrow at Old Trafford for the first leg, before welcoming them to the Etihad Stadium later in January.

Man City advanced after a hard-fought 3-1 victory against Oxford United, while ManU overcame Colchester United (3-0) at Old Trafford.

Other Semi-final
On Wednesday, in the other Semi-Final tie, Leicester City and Aston Villa meet firstly at Villa Park, before the return leg at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes advanced after a tense penalty shootout 4-2 against Everton after they equaled at 2-2. Villa booked their place in the last four after victory against Liverpool (5-0) at the Quarter-Final stage.
