Barcelona defeated Inter Milan after 60 years on their home ground. Barca won 2-1 at Inter Milan that knocked the Italian club out of the competition and allowed Borussia Dortmund to go through.

In a match where Lionel Messi didn’t play and Luis Suarez started on the bench, Inter had no business losing. Inter had eight shots on goal and numerous chances to win the game, yet couldn’t find answers in the final third. It’s a blow to Conte in his first season with the club, as this was a team expected to move on due to recent form. In the end, it couldn’t beat a Barca team without a number of its key players, leaving Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku to remember all of the missed chances that could have been the difference as 16 other teams advance for Europe’s top prize.

On 01/12/2019, Vivianne Miedema was involved in 10 goals (6 goals, 4 assists) for Arsenal vs Bristol City.

In WSL history, just 13% of all other players to make an appearance in the competition have been involved in 10+ goals in their entire WSL career. A truly special achievement.

What’s with Rooney going to Leauge 2? Ronaldo is same age as Rooney, Messi a mere two years younger!

Rooney should have been playing top flight right now! Instead he was in MLS and now in Leauge 2!
