West Ham 2-0 Norwich: Bowen’s double sends Hammers above Arsenal into fourth

Six minutes after the Hammers forward had a free-kick ruled out for offside at the London Stadium, Bowen headed home Vladmir Coufal’s pass just before half-time to net his first goal of 2022.

Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he returned to Manchester United just to add to his trophy collection, and that anything less than a third-place result would be unacceptable.
United were expected to launch a meaningful championship push this season after bringing in players such as Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho in the summer, in addition to their returning legend.
While Ronaldo has maintained his elite goal-scoring standards, the Red Devils have struggled for consistency and were forced to change managers in November, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer paying the price for a poor run of defeats that ended in a 4-1 thumping at Watford.

Players want to join winning clubs while managers look upto star players to win trophies. A catch-22 situation!

Despite star players like Bruno, J Sancho, Cavani, Varane, Maguire, and Ronaldo (the GOAT), if the club is failing to move in the top 4 then who is to blame? Manager or players? Or is it just a phase similar to what Liverpool had gone through in the last season?
