In the first half of Liverpools’s recent face off against Spurs, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had been shown a yellow card by referee Tierney for his reaction to a studs-up challenge from Harry Kane on Andy Robertson.
Klopp was confused about why the VAR hadn’t intervened and so went over to talk to Tierney after the full-time whistle.
In this conversation Klopp was heard saying, "I have no problems with referees - only you”.

Scotsman Ewan Sharp is appointed as an assistant coach and analyst of Manchester United.
Sharp’s last post was at Lokomotiv Moscow, alongside Interim Man Utd manager Rangnick, and has previously worked with New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC.
The Toronto Sun once described how Ewan Sharp played a major role in “opposition scouting, match planning, in match and post-match analysis. He also assisted the scouting department in identification and recruitment”.

| BREAKING: Manchester City’s Benjamin Mendy has been charged with a seventh count of rape which is understood to have taken place in July this year.
Benjamin Mendy has now been accused of eight offenses against five different women, including seven counts of rape relating to four women.
