Mason Greenwood update as Man United star set for new court hearing

image

The nature of the charges filed against Mason Greenwood, as well as the evidence that became public, made it appear quite improbable that he would ever play for Man United again, and he remains suspended by the club while the inquiry is ongoing.

He’s still facing allegations of assault and rape, but he’s not in detention right now because he’s out on bail.

There’s a chance that will change next week, since a new hearing has been scheduled — the police are still investigating his case, and an application to extend his bail has been filed.

There won’t be any media or public access to the hearing, and Greenwood isn’t anticipated to attend, so it sounds like this will be more of a formality and procedural than providing any actual insight into the case’s result.

There has been no further word on his United status, but the club has announced that he will not be allowed to train with his teammates or be eligible for selection, so it appears that a resolution will take some time.

:ecuador: How little is said about Antonio Valencia at Manchester United. He arrived in 2009 and played for 10 years! There were 339 games, 25 goals, 62 assists and 9 titles (among them, two Premier and one Europa League). And he even became team captain.

Yves Bissouma cleared of sexual assault allegations

Yves Bissouma of Tottenham has been exonerated of all charges of sexual assault.
Following an incident at a Brighton nightclub on October 6, the midfielder and a guy in his 40s were both taken into custody.

Although Sussex Police were still looking into Bissouma’s departure from Brighton & Hove Albion for Spurs earlier in June, they have now stated that he has been discharged with no further action anticipated.
