AC Milan have gone top of the Serie A table after beating Bologna 4-2 in a chaotic match at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Saturday night.

Ibrahimovic - on his first start of the season - is the fourth player to score a Serie A goal after his 40th birthday, along with Milan legend Alessandro Costacurta, 41, and 40-year-olds Silvio Piola and Pietro Vierchowod.

He was the first 40-year-old to set up a Serie A goal since Francesco Totti in February 2017.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 150th Serie A goal as AC Milan inflicted Jose Mourinho’s first home defeat as Roma boss.

The visitors secured a 2-1 win at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday to keep pace with Serie A leaders Napoli.

The 40-year-old striker rifled a low free-kick into the bottom corner in the 25th minute to put the visitors ahead after a lively start, his 400th goal in total in domestic leagues.
