World-Cup is in its final stage now. The big games. And big games are often decided by big names. Be it any world cup knockouts. 2003 world cup was pulled away from India almost single handedly by Ponting. In the same way 2007 World cup was decided by a gilchrist master class. Who do you think is gonna decide the tomorrow’s semifinal? Will it be Williamson? Or rohit? Or finally mahi will find his Grove back? Or like last time’s elliot heroics some new face will catch the limelight?

In eight World Cup matches played between India and New Zealand, NZ have won 4, India won 3 and one match ended in no result. India’s strong performance this WC will win today’s match and go to finals.

Guptill has been silent till date. We know how explosive he can be. Let’s hope he doesn’t choose today to come alive. Another NZ man to watch out for is Ferguson. He has arsenal to dent India severely.

Yes, the big guns need to perform today. For India it should be Virat Kohli who needs to show why he is called the world class player. The team who handles the pressure today will win it. India are loaded with top names with top rankings. The bowlers need to be par excellence today and for India to win they need to make sure Kane Willamson doesn’t stay for long. He can change the game.

Rain is going to decide today’s semi-final 
In case of a wash out, the match will resume tomorrow on the reserve day. The toss result will also be carried forward even if not a single ball is bowled today.
If by chance, it rains tomorrow, then the team with the better position in the group stage points table goes through to the final. If the final itself is washed out, then the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy will be shared. According to this rule, India will qualify for the final on the basis of higher points (15) than NZ (11) in the league stage.
I hope the match gets played today. Hitman, Bumrah and Shami will take us to finals.
